Introduction to Fisheries Stock Assessment Course at SIO, December 9-13, 2013

CAPAM Research Scientist Dr. Juan Valero taught the course Introduction to Fisheries Stock Assessment on December 9-13, 2013 at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, La Jolla CA, USA. This was the first fisheries stock assessement course taught in the San Diego area since 2007. Course participants included 23 students, researchers and staff from 8 institutions (Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Southwest Fisheries Science Center-NOAA, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Pfleger Institute of Environment Research, University of Hawaii, Hubbs Sea World Research Institute, Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission, and San Diego State University).
